Prompt Engineer | Krakow | Hybrid | Ongoing Contract

We are seeking an experienced Prompt Engineer to join an innovative team working on production-grade Large Language Model (LLM) projects. This is an ongoing contract role with strong potential for extensions and a negotiable B2B contract rate. The position is hybrid, with three days per week required in the Krakow office.

What you’ll do:

Design, build, and deploy effective prompts for real-world LLM applications (ideally with experience on at least two production projects).
Develop and refine prompt structures and contexts to ensure high-quality, consistent outputs.
Work daily with Python, using LLM APIs, prompt engineering frameworks, and data tools like Pandas.
Implement fine-tuning and/or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to improve model performance.
Evaluate prompts using established tools and metrics (BLEU, ROUGE, semantic similarity) and incorporate human feedback loops.
Address LLM security concerns such as prompt injection, output filtering, and API constraints.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable prompt logic.

What we’re looking for:

Ideally 10 years experience in IT , with proven hands-on work in LLMs and prompt engineering (for the past 2-3 years since inception)
Strong understanding of prompt design, security best practices, and output structuring.
Proficiency in Python, with experience integrating LLM APIs and frameworks.
Analytical mindset with an eye for both high-level solution design and detailed output validation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI logic clearly.
Desirable: experience with vector databases, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or OCR/NLP/IDP pipelines.
