We are seeking an experienced Prompt Engineering Instructor to deliver specialized training on designing and optimizing prompts for ChatGPT and similar AI models. This role focuses on equipping participants with practical skills in prompt engineering, tailored to business and industry needs. The instructor will collaborate with the Skills Training team to develop curriculum, facilitate interactive sessions, and assess learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on prompt engineering fundamentals and applications.

Teach techniques for crafting effective prompts, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing AI-generated responses.

Guide participants through different prompt types, including direct, contextual, and advanced structures.

Cover ethical considerations and biases in AI-generated content.

Customize course materials to align with employer and industry-specific requirements.

Assess participant skill levels and track learning progress.

Provide coaching, technical assistance, and supplemental resources.

Collaborate with internal teams to align training with workforce development goals.

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for prompt engineering inquiries.
Qualifications

Expertise in prompt engineering and AI tools, including ChatGPT or similar models.

Experience designing and optimizing prompts for varied applications.

Strong instructional design skills, with the ability to tailor training to different learning styles.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience working with adult learners and/or workforce development programs preferred.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Information Technology, or related field.

Familiarity with AI ethics, responsible AI practices, and bias mitigation strategies.

Experience with other AI-powered tools and automation platforms.

Bilingual abilities are a plus depending on employer partner needs.
Work Environment

Training sessions are primarily conducted Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM.

May involve travel to employer partner locations within the service area.

Some evening or weekend sessions may be required based on partner schedules.
