About the RoleWe’re looking for a Prompt Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of prompts for large language models (LLMs) across a wide range of real-world use cases. This is a role for someone who is deeply fluent in prompting, thrives in experimentation, and can communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
You’ll work cross-functionally on AI agents, support workflows, and vertical-specific products and will be required to work during U.S. business hours to enable close collaboration with global teams. Key Responsibilities
Prompt Strategy & Design- Write, test and refine high-performing prompts across a range of LLM applications
- Translate vague business requirements into clear, structured and contextually accurate prompt flows
- Architect prompt chains and multi-step agentic workflows
Optimization & Performance- A/B test prompt variants and analyze model outputs for quality, consistency and intent alignment
- Maintain a living prompt library with versioning, tagging and detailed documentation
- Apply analytical rigor to evaluate prompt effectiveness and improve output quality over time
Cross-Industry Execution- Design prompt systems that work across sectors like legal, finance and marketing
- Rapidly adjust tone, structure and input format to meet different domain-specific needs
Collaboration & Communication- Work directly with stakeholders to understand prompt goals and communicate strategy
- Act as a bridge between business needs and technical AI prompt delivery
Continuous Learning- Stay current with prompting techniques, LLM releases and AI toolchains
- Share insights, failures and successful strategies with the broader team
What We’re Looking For
Experience- 2+ years in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI-driven product development
- Experience working with LLMs like OpenAI, Anthropic or similar
Must-Haves- Availability and willingness to work in U.S. shift timings (EST/PST)
- Deep comfort with prompt engineering and model behavior patterns
- Proven ability to build effective prompts across multiple industry domains
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially for interfacing with non-technical stakeholders
Technical Proficiency- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or Cohere APIs
- Familiarity with LangChain, PromptLayer or similar prompt evaluation stacks
- Python/scripting(Optional) for quick prompt testing and automation
- Git(Optional) for versioning and collaboration
Soft Skills- High ownership, initiative-driven and a natural experimenter
- Able to work independently and as part of a fast-paced, agile team
- Quick learner with an instinct for iteration and improvement
