About the Role:
As a Prompt Engineer at Huntridge Labs, you’ll work at the intersection of language, AI, and mission-focused innovation—designing, testing, and optimizing prompts for generative AI systems to streamline workflows, augment decision-making, and enhance user experiences across client systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI integration opportunities.
- Craft and optimize prompts tailored to large language models (LLMs) like GPT, Gemini, etc., ensuring precision, context, and bias mitigation.
- Test prompt variations, evaluate outputs, and iterate to improve performance in metrics such as accuracy, relevance, and safety.
- Embed domain-specific context (government, defense, healthcare) into prompts for tailored business solutions.
- Document prompting techniques and build reusable “PromptOps” workflows or libraries.
- Monitor ethical and secure use of LLMs; work with teams to mitigate prompt injection, hallucinations, or bias concerns.
Qualifications:
- Skilled communicator with strong written clarity and creative problem-solving.
- Understanding of LLM mechanics—tokenization, context windows, bias, optimization—not necessarily deep ML engineering.
- Familiarity with Python or scripting for prompt automation and evaluation (preferred).
- Experience with prompt design, RAG workflows, or prompt optimization strategies is a plus.
- Alignment with Huntridge Labs’ culture: proactive, collaborative, mission-driven, adaptable.
Salary-$120,000-$140,000
