This role for a Prompt Engineer specializes in designing, refining, and optimizing prompts to improve the performance of AI systems—particularly large language models (LLMs) like GPT-4. This role bridges the gap between technical development and human-AI interaction, ensuring that AI outputs are accurate, relevant, and aligned with business goals.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Prompt Design & Optimization: Create and refine prompts to guide AI models toward desired outcomes in tasks such as content generation, data analysis, and chatbot interactions.
- AI Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate AI responses, adjusting prompts and algorithms to improve accuracy and relevance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders—to align prompt strategies with project goals.
- Research & Innovation: Stay updated on the latest developments in AI and machine learning to incorporate best practices into prompt engineering.
- Ethical Considerations: Address risks and ethical concerns related to AI usage, ensuring responsible deployment of automated systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, and frameworks like LangChain or Semantic Kernel
- Experience with LLMs such as GPT-4, Codex, or similar.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, and enterprise system APIs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT and related fields.
