Role Description
We are seeking a full-time AI Prompt Engineer specializing in language models such as Claude, ChatGPT, and MCP. In this hybrid role based in New York, NY, you will design, test, and refine AI-generated prompts to drive optimal outcomes for use in strategic advisory contexts. Responsibilities include conducting research, developing prompt strategies, iterating model outputs, building Claude / ChatGPT skills, projects and agents, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders on technology solutions. Some work hours can be performed remotely, with in-office requirements as needed.
Qualifications
- Expertise in AI tools and models, including but not limited to Claude, ChatGPT, and MCP connectivity
- Strong experience in prompt engineering, prompt testing
- Proficiency in problem-solving, innovation, and employing AI tools to meet client needs
- Solid foundation in Python or other programming languages used for AI development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders
- Prior experience in the alternative investments or financial services industry is a huge plus
- Experience with agentic AI orchestration via MS Foundry / Logic Apps, 8n8, Claude Managed Agents, and similar is a huge plus
- Proven ability to hold the room, conduct demos, trainings, and pair development closely with business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; Advanced degree is a plus
