Position Overview
We are hiring two Junior AI Prompt Engineers to join our team in Charleston, SC. This is an ideal role for early-career professionals or self-taught engineers who are deeply interested in AI agents, voice automation, and healthcare systems. You’ll be responsible for designing, testing, and refining AI prompts that drive intelligent workflows for doctors and providers.

Responsibilities

Create and iterate on high-quality prompts and workflows for real-time AI agents
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deploy healthcare automation tools
Develop prompt chains and logic that improve task execution via Addie (our voice assistant)
Work closely with providers to optimize EHR-related tasks through AI
Assist in building training datasets and conducting prompt performance testing
Improve reliability, relevance, and usability of all prompt-driven interactions

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience working with AI models (e.g., GPT, Claude, or open-source LLMs)
Strong interest or hands-on exposure to EHR platforms and healthcare workflows
Proven ability to solve problems and iterate quickly in a startup environment
Solid understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals (structure, logic, context control)
Must be based in or willing to work from Charleston, SC (hybrid or on-site)
No specific degree required—portfolio, side projects, or past work will speak for you

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, or multi-agent systems
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations or healthcare compliance
Familiarity with natural language interfaces, voice assistants, or NLP applications

Compensation & Benefits

$25 to $45 per hour, depending on skill and experience
Flexible hours and potential for long-term or full-time conversion
