CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a fully owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC is looking for Prompt Engineer in San Jose, Costa Rica with at least 3-4 years of experience.to join our AI team. As a Prompt Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing prompts to effectively interact with AI models, ensuring accurate, reliable, and context-aware outputs. You will collaborate closely with our customers to create solutions that align their business goals.

Responsibilities

Design and develop effective prompts to achieve desired outputs from large language models (LLMs).
Represent the quantitative and qualitative narrative of advanced analytical data in accurate linguistic interpretation in English
Analyze AI responses and iterate on prompt designs to improve accuracy and relevance.
Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and develop AI-driven solutions.
Develop guidelines and best practices for prompt engineering.
Research and stay updated on emerging trends in AI prompting and fine-tuning techniques.
Evaluate model outputs and suggest improvements to AI training datasets.
Document prompt strategies, experiments, and outcomes for knowledge sharing.
Stay updated with advancements in AI, NLP, and chatbot technologies to drive innovation.

Requirements

Bachelors in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Has proven ability to appropriately reflect the potential sentiment behind the statical or analytical information
Highly skilled in detecting language biases and ability to minimize confirmation biases and other forms of biases in communication
Proven experience (2+ years) in working with AI language models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Claude).
Proficiency in Python or other programming languages.
Familiarity with NLP and machine learning concepts.
Experience fine-tuning large language models.
Previous experience working in AI research or product development.
Background in linguistics, cognitive science, or user experience design is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-regional, multi-cultural team and in a collaborative environment.
