Role Overview

We are seeking a Prompt Engineer to join our growing AI team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and refining prompts for AI-powered features, ensuring they produce accurate, efficient, and user-friendly results. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a strong technical background in natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs). You will collaborate closely with product, development, and AI teams to optimize AI capabilities and enhance our platform's performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrompt Engineering & Optimization

- Design, develop, and refine effective prompts for LLMs and AI models to enhance user experience.
- Experiment with different prompting techniques to improve AI response accuracy, efficiency, and usability.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive prompt library tailored to asset management use cases.

AI Feature Development & Enhancement

- Collaborate with product managers and developers to integrate AI-driven features into Asset Panda’s platform.
- Contribute to AI-powered functionalities, such as automated asset categorization, data analysis, and report generation.
- Enhance AI integration within mobile and cloud-based applications.

Testing & Evaluation

- Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of AI-generated responses to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Analyze AI model outputs and refine prompts based on performance metrics and user feedback.
- Establish and document best practices for prompt evaluation methodologies.

Collaboration & Documentation

- Maintain clear documentation of prompt engineering processes and best practices.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to improve AI-driven solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI trends, NLP research, and prompt engineering advancements.

Data Analysis & AI Optimization

- Analyze asset management-related data to improve AI response accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot prompt-related challenges that impact AI model performance.

QualificationsRequired:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of NLP principles and experience working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
- Proven experience in prompt engineering and optimizing AI-generated responses.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Passion for AI-driven innovation and continuous learning.

Preferred:

- Experience integrating AI into SaaS or software applications.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and mobile app development.
- Knowledge of asset management concepts.
- Proficiency in Python and AI-related tools.
- Experience with machine learning and model fine-tuning.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
