About the Role
Location: Farmington, CT
Setting: Monday through Thursday in-office; Fridays remote.
We are looking for curious, driven recent graduates who are excited about the future of AI and eager to learn. As a Junior Prompt Engineer, you will help design, test, and refine prompts that guide AI systems (like ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to produce high-quality, accurate, and useful outputs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys experimenting, problem-solving, and continuously learning, even if you don’t have prior experience in prompt engineering.
What You’ll Do
- Design and iterate prompts to improve AI-generated responses
- Test outputs from AI systems and identify areas for improvement
- Analyze responses for accuracy, tone, relevance, and consistency
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and content teams
- Document best practices, patterns, and prompt strategies
- Learn new AI tools and adapt to evolving technologies
- Support development of use cases across domains (customer support, content generation, automation, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
Must-have:
- Recent graduate (any field—Tech, Business, Humanities, etc.)
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and critical thinking
- Ability to experiment, iterate, and learn from feedback
Nice-to-have (not required):
- Basic understanding of AI, ChatGPT, or large language models
- Experience with writing, research, or content creation
- Exposure to Python, APIs, or data tools (a plus, not mandatory)
- Background in linguistics, psychology, journalism, or computer science
