Summary:
As a Prompt Engineer, your typical day involves designing, creating, and refining prompts to optimize the performance of Large Language Models. You will engage in activities that guide and enhance the responses generated by these models, ensuring effective and meaningful AI interactions. Your work includes experimenting with various techniques and tools to improve prompt quality and leveraging interactive environments to test and validate prompt effectiveness. Collaboration and continuous iteration are key aspects of your daily routine, aimed at advancing the capabilities of AI-driven communication.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective prompt designs.
- Continuously monitor and analyze model outputs to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.
- Document prompt engineering processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in prompt development and troubleshooting.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Prompt Engineering, Python (Programming Language), Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Strong understanding of natural language processing concepts and techniques.
- Experience with AI playgrounds and interactive environments for prompt testing and refinement.
- Ability to analyze and interpret model behavior to enhance prompt effectiveness.
- Familiarity with programming practices that support AI model interaction and prompt optimization.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Prompt Engineering.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
